The "All In" Approach
At Gateway Christian Academy, “All In” represents our unwavering commitment to giving everything for Christ, especially in athletics. Our athletes train with dedication, pushing themselves physically and mentally to leave everything on the field after every competition. Talent alone isn’t enough—it’s about building strength, resilience, and teamwork, driven by a commitment to their team, self-discipline, and a work ethic that goes beyond giving just 90%. This mindset builds champions and shapes their character, influencing all areas of their lives.
Guided by Luke 2:52, which tells us that Jesus grew in stature and favor with God and man, we are dedicated to nurturing our students’ physical development alongside their spiritual and social growth. Through our athletics program, we emphasize fitness, skill-building, and healthy competition, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship. As students embrace this “All In” mentality, they learn to push their limits, tackle challenges with enthusiasm, and grow as both athletes and individuals. By doing so, they become not only physically strong but also possess the character and determination to make a lasting impact on and off the field.

Basketball
GCA’s basketball program for male and female students (5-12th grade) embodies the values of Perseverance, Scholarship, Conviction, and Christian character. With a focus on spiritual development, players are encouraged to deepen their faith while honing their athletic abilities, cultivating a strong sense of moral integrity and compassion for others. The program fosters a sense of community and teamwork, instilling in players the importance of serving others both on and off the court.
Soccer
GCA’s soccer program for students in 6-12th grade exemplifies the Christian values of Perseverance, Scholarship, and Conviction. Emphasizing spiritual growth alongside athletic prowess, students develop a strong sense of integrity and compassion. Through rigorous training and academic support, players excel both on the field and in their studies. The program fosters a sense of teamwork and service, preparing young athletes to become leaders with unwavering determination and a Christ-centered perspective.
Volleyball

Golf
GCA’s golf teams for men and ladies in 8-12th grade offer a unique blend of athletic excellence and a safe Christian environment. With experienced coaches, students develop their golfing skills while also nurturing their faith. Emphasizing sportsmanship and teamwork, the program fosters a sense of camaraderie, personal growth, and a lasting love for the sport.
Cross Country
GCA’s cross country program offers an exceptional opportunity for 6th-12th grade boys and girls to embark on a transformative journey of physical, spiritual, and mental growth. Rooted in the principles of perseverance and conviction, this program goes beyond the mere pursuit of athletic excellence. As participants lace up their running shoes, they embark on a path of camaraderie and resilience.
The CRU
Our “CRU” is a student-led team focused on promoting school spirit and supporting our athletes at games and events. They work to energize the crowd, encourage teamwork, and create a positive, enthusiastic environment for our sports teams.
Tri-State Christian School Competition
High school students from Gateway Christian Academy participate in the Tri-State Christian School Competition every spring in the 100-Yard Dash, Mile Run, Weight Lifting, Table Tennis, 3-on-3 Basketball, and Soccer Shootout categories.
